FolioView is built around a simple idea: your portfolio data is yours. This page explains what we collect, why, and what we don't do with it.

What we store

Account information — email address, hashed password (or your OAuth/passkey identifier), and a name if you choose to provide one. Used only to authenticate you.
Imported broker data — the contents of any CSV files you upload (Degiro Account Statement, Transactions, etc.). This data is stored against your account so we can compute your portfolio analytics.
Derived analytics — positions, realized P/L, dividend tracking, and price snapshots we compute from your imports.
Operational logs — minimal request logs for debugging and abuse prevention. No tracking pixels, no third-party analytics on the app surface.

What we don't do

We do not sell your data, share holdings, or expose your portfolio to other users or third parties.
We do not place advertising trackers on the application or mine your transactions for marketing.
We do not require linking a brokerage account or providing API credentials. CSV imports are the only way data enters FolioView.

Price data

To value your holdings on any given date, FolioView fetches end-of-day quotes from public market data sources. Only ticker symbols and ISINs you hold are queried — never your account balances.

Email

If you opt into the newsletter or contact us, we keep your email so we can reply or send the updates you asked for. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Deleting your data

Visit Settings → Danger zone to delete your account. This permanently removes your uploaded CSVs, derived analytics, and authentication records. Backups are rotated within 30 days.
